Workbench Changes That Require an Index Rebuild

When do I need to rebuild the index?

Some changes in Workbench affect how your data is indexed and searched. When you open certain Workbench areas, you may see an Index Rebuild Required warning.

What this means

If you make changes in the areas listed below, you’ll need to rebuild your index for those updates to fully apply in search results.

Tip: If you’re unsure, Workbench will prompt you. When in doubt, rebuild after making these types of changes, especially before validating results in production.
