Create Your Facets
Facets are helpful in filtering search results – they typically appear on the left hand side of the search results. Examples would be “brand,” “category,” and “color.”
Step 1: Download Sample File of Facets
There is a sample file with a number of basic facets that relates to some of the fields in the initial .csv file you used earlier. The file is here:
Step 2: Run Postman Collection
Similar to the field creation – use the .csv above to run a collection to create these facets. The endpoint is “Bulk Facet Creation.” Open the endpoint in Postman and make sure in the Headers section that you have the API key set from your account. Reference the .csv file and run like you did the fields.
Step 3: Confirm everything working correctly
From your HawkSearch account, navigate to: Workbench -> Data Configuration -> Facets. You should see your facets listed from the file.
